Boys we are still not relying on anyone to do us any favours,it's simple to me in regards that we win our games we win the league. If we all make sure that a positive reaction comes out of today and we win our games people remember the name of the champions, not the name of the team that beat them. Onwards and upwards boys!!

Had time to reflect on this mornings game and go over the many incidents and first of all you have to say that Spartans are a good side (one of many in this league) but were it not for their keeper we could well have come in at half time with a healthy lead. There were some good points from today's game but some bad as well, it's just a shame that a lot of the bad points (but not all) were out of our control. Did this have an effect on the result? Unfortunately we will never know which for me is the most frustrating thing. I'm just disappointed that of all the several big decisons in the game EVERY ONE went against us. I'm not going to do individual ratings today as this is our first defeat for a long time and altough some individual performances were not up to our usual standard i do not feel individual ratings would help us. However some points on today's game:- - At times we were not as good in possession as we normally are and our passing could have been a bit better.
- We had three opportunites to prevent the first goal.
- We created several opportunities but didn't take our usual percentage, although their keeper had an excellent game.
- Defend the counter attack better.
- React better when certain things went against us, although i would say that the discipline was excellent considering some of the decisions (and non decisions) against us.
All in all a tough day for lots of reasons but at times we played some pretty decent stuff. I'm sure we will bounce back from it and no better time than next weeks semi-final.

Correct Bel, they are a good side. What they do, they do well. It's not nice to lose and fortunately we don't do it very often. That's the 1st time we've lost away in the league since one bell beat us about 4 seasons ago. Not a bad record. The pitch was a mud bath and we didn't get decisions. So lets lick our wounds and go again next week. Still got 3 trophies to go for.

Ok fellas , a bitter pill to swallow in our minds , we are not used to losing especially by a large margin , but it's happened and we have to deal with it . In my opinion they finished there goals well and were worthy winners . 1st half: I gave players instructions of what was needed , and everyone stuck to their rolls ,ie: forwards stay out of channels , midfielders stay as tight four , move the ball early , get strikes on goals , these are called plans/strategys , the difference was there GK , we were by far the better dominating side . 2nd half Turning into players on a bad pitch , losing bad possession in key areas , standing in channels and blocking forward movement , running with the ball in bad areas , no one being brave enough to organise , all this assisted in there second half goals , at no point did they play around you , these were handed to them !!! My point is , you never stuck to our organised plan , majority of players went back to the way they played before . When we are at work , we have plan of how we are going set out for the day , when we don't stick to our plan we get home and say " what a poxy day " football is no different . It's not our right to win , just because we do , beating teams around you wins leagues , we are strong enough to get through it . We all know what we have to at work tomorrow , and you will ALL stick your plan !!! That's why we train SOS

Well there is nothing to say after losing a game 5-1. I played til the final whistle.... And didn't exactly play a bad game.

You're spot on Noz and we'll start that this Sunday. You did have a bad game Pablo apart from their 1st goal and the usual lack of talking on the pitch!

The free kick was identical to tommys against the reserves and that was a great goal.... I done enough to keep that out and no one bothered to track the 5 runners who came into the box. And my lack of talking? Maybe in the second half, but I'm sure I was the only player calling man on, even when I was 60 yards and others were 5.

Just like to say that normal service will be resumed from 12 yards.
