Another big game this week with the G&M Motors Cup semi-final in which we will need to be at our best against a very good footballing side in Real Gima. It's an opportunity to bounce back from last weeks eventful game and with strong competiton for places and big games coming up every week everyone will need to be at there best. We are now at the business end of the season so from now on let's make it count.

Absolutely fantastic comeback today lads, to be 3 nil down at HT and come back to win shows real character. Sure we helped them with some of the goals but we didn't let it effect us and kept doing the right things and eventually ran out worthy winners.
Well done everyone.

Firstly I would like to apologise to bel , yarn and Nozza for leaving them with the kit duty , I didn't anticipate ET and had to shoot . First class today fellas , well executed plan , stuck to what you know best and come out of it in another final . Self belief and structure never fails and that's what defines us from the rest . When they were 3 goals up , what plan did they have to keep their lead , none ! I know I keep going on about it , but it does work Spartans had a plan last week , shut us down and bodies behind the ball ASAP , and it worked . Everyone was brilliant second half and fully deserved the result . Full squad at training this week !!!

We played some very good football today and were on top for long periods of the game, even when we were behind. Everyone deserves credit for the way you stuck to the task and kept believing in what you were doing, it was a truly remarkable fightback.
Dan Houckham - 8/10 Difficult day for Pablo as for long periods he must have been freezing his nuts off, however when called upon did everything that was asked off him.
Steve Smith - 8/10 First game for a few weeks but slotted back in with the usual performance.
Luke Underdown - 7/10 PLayed well, scored and worth an 8 but never put the goals up.
Darren Thomson - 9/10 Second week in a row he has been the best player on the pitch. STAR MAN
Dave Burton - 7/10 Has been terrific all season but today things just never went for him, poor lad looked cold all game. I won't mention their 3rd goal either.
Will Roomes - 7/10 Very good performance and now showing a maturity in not letting the opposition put him off his game. Didn't put the goals up so that's what stopped him getting an 8.
Lee Biggs - 8/10 First start for a while but it didn't show. Worked tirelessly all game and chipped in with another goal.
Tommy Martin - 8/10 Not yet back to his early season form but another step in the right direction. Bought me a drink so gets an 8.
Jack Wilson – 7/10 Passing not up to his usual standard but always gives 100%.
Danny Thomas - 8/10 Started up front but later moved into midfield and as usual gave everything he's got. Played an important part in one of the goals winning possession through sheer determination.
Micky Close - 8/10 At times didn't look at his best but chipped in with two more goals at important times.
Danny Eastwood - 6/10 Played well when he got on but was late, didn't put the goals up and owes me for a booking so there's no way he's gona get any more than a 6.
Archie Avery - 8/10 Did exactly what was required off him
Darren Wright - 8/10 No nonsense defending exactly when it was needed, HAVE IT.
Jack Stone – 9/10 Changed the game with the crucial first goal. Would of got star man but Tommo has been excellent for the last two games and just edged it.
Cliff Carter - 8/10 Rotated the squad today and at this stage of the season the right decision.
Nolan Iles - 8/10 STAR MAN at training.
Grant Spelling - 7/10 Tactical input excellent as ever but not at training and had to shoot off, let's hope normal service is resumed this week.
Mick Austin - 8/10 Top man and club legend.
Steve Smith - 9.1/10

Your back would hurt too if you carried all the subs home every week and i missed the curry night because i'm on a healthy living exercise. I have to keep everyone on their toes and not get complacent

Well done boys on reaching another final. I can't think of any other team who would be standing there at half time 3-0 down still believing that we would win. Not only did we believe it,we made it happen. Let's take that belief into Friday and our remaining games. I'd also like to thank the boys from the reserves who came up in the freezing weather to give their support,it's much appreciated.
