Hi fellas My first thoughts are with Belly , Ozzo , Nozza , shay , skelts , JTH , Ian White , Clive , John Allett , Churchie and my lovely wife Jo , who's never moaned in 25 years about me being involved and anyone who I may have forgotten . These people have never let the club down and deserve the full respect that goes with the input they have given over the years , they get from me ! These people have never failed to show when we're losing or there's no spirit , they don't shift the blame . I'm fortunate to be involved with players a all levels and attitudes don't change , if your a player who's involved in a team with poor players , poor attitude , poor spirit and leave because of of it , then YOU are all of those things , period ! You will not bring any thing to another team . Over the years I have met some fantastic players /men at the club and it's those I want to remember , fantastic drinks , tours , cups , super Sundays , curry nights , presentations ! Full respect to all those guys This is not the end , just a sign post in another direction !!! SOS

You're spot on Specialone,I feel honoured to have played and been associated with in my opinion the best club to have played Kent Sunday football. I've met some amazing people who have become really good friends. I'd like to thank everyone who has given up spending time with their families to enable us to turn up and just play. My biggest thanks are to Steve 'Belly' Smith who if it wasn't for all his hard work and total devotion all our success wouldn't have been possible. I know others helped and a big thanks goes to you,no names required you know who you are. I've got memories that will always stay with me,thank you everyone at Welsh/PP you've all be 1st class x

First walked in that pub aged 17. I'm 37 now and can't imagine life without the club mate. The landlords, the managers, the sponsors, the tours, the characters and the players That have been down that place in 20 years is frightening. Can't thank everyone enough especially Belly who's devoted himself for over 30 years. I think everyone owes him a massive thank you..a true legend

Great points made by SOS regarding attitudes of players. Its all very easy to be there every week when youre winning comfortably, but the sign of a good player is the one that's there when things need turning around. Team spirit is galvanised in the tough times where you stick together. For all the players who couldn't be bothered anymore make no mistake they will never achieve success of this level again. Clubs don't run for this length of time without real dedication and devotion and its a sad sad day for everyone who gave it their all but we know that a few didnt
